My Animated Voice-over Dream Team

Mel Blanc

Teach The Controversy

A temporary collection of atoms

an accumulation of (soul) consciousness

my overall contributions to humanity....

I don't want to go back to the 1950's,
let's just say my tan wouldn't have been an asset back then...

Killing Time

Can't sum it up and find it hard to articulate exactly...

but something is wrong with the people ruling us

and the massive corporations that control our media etc.

greed is good, ignorance is bliss, yada yada yada

and anyone who thinks the environment is more important than jobs gets freely labeled a 'commie' or some other such slur, but the 'Captains of Industry' and their talking heads (see FOX) never get called 'fascists' openly and if someone did they'd have a shit fit...

don't necessarily believe many of the conspiracy theories out there but I have to admit a few of them can't be dis-proven

just seems so weird that the acts the terrorists commit, usually play out so well for the dominant hegemony, don't want to think about it too much cos even if it's true, most peeps will never believe it and you can't really do anything to change it, can you? If you go on about it too much, people just fink you're some kindo ID10t. probally crazy, half hand, handcuffed covered in chocolate, Dipped in Irony, a dirty baseline and some oral pleasure.

Test Slice

We teach others how to treat us.

We are prisoners of comparison.

We impose order on an unordered system.

Inaction, is still a form of action.

The Meaning Of Life...

Why are we here? Where else would we be?
Why do we come up with questions that have no agreed upon explanation? Because we're curious, bored or Trying to avoid thoughts about something worse like, responsibilities we don't want. Our impending deaths or just the general destruction our species is inflicting upon the planet.
(Woh thats a bit heavy ain't it? Better go watch TV so we don't have to think about that!)
Or are we more worried that our questions have no answers or that we will never learn the answer in our lifetime (what's next?).
What is gonna happen to us when our heart no longer pumps, our brain no longer thinks and we generally start to lose our accumulated molecules? Well no one really knows, so all we can do is argue over who has the best theory. Every pursuit of knowledge (or just answers) be it religion, science or any other attempt to explain what we are and why we're doing it. But what most of these approaches forget is that, no one knows! There is no monopoly on the truth. We can't predict the future. We don't even all agree on what has happened in the past. So what we should be doing is listening, thinking and quietly try to figure out whats going on as we wander through this giant maze, searching for the cheese.

So this blog if I keep adding to it will explore aspects of whatever I am currently interested in, while putting it in the context of my thoughts about life, love and the universe.
So its just a big load of bollocks!! Refreshing though isn't it???

Tough Love {Cruel to be Kind?}

When you love somebody and bite your tongue all you get is a mouthful of blood

"When U Love Somebody" - By Fruit Bat

Going Up For Fake

Too many people these days think that how they look is who they are, it's more a representative snapshot of current innovations, which are continually changing and evolving... unless you are comfortable enough to not give a shit, either cos your way too cool or way too uncool. No but seriously it's just clothes and shit FFS.

But glad you're making an effort.

Unintended Subtext and Over use of Irony

Internet: (that includes you twitter)
Can you...?
Stop getting so angry about everything and abusing people you don't know.

Especially if the reason for your rant is to protest bullying, which you're now doing.

Call off the lynch mob and just stop telling people to fuck off and die!!
Even though I have trouble not doing the exact same!
and some of these vermin need to go down a peg or two.

But it's funnier if you don't tell them to die or threaten rape/death.
So I guess that a bit of a line there not to cross, if you couldn't make it out. Fo yo self.

We (pretty much) all have opinions, some of them strong, and I'm not trying to stop people expressing these, but there's still a limit to how awful you can be.
So stop going straight for the nastiest nastiness,
If yoou can...

Buffer Capacity and Contingency Plans

Meaningless buzzwords like:

The Alpha and Omega:
One and the same. Everything.

School-to Prison/Prism Pipeline

Write a short story about a fictional future where climate change talks have turned nasty. And some countries effected by global warming/extreme weather have gone to war to attack polluters. A shadow cold war is developing into a full on grudge match. Along the old battle lines. Strange alliances form to defeat shared enemies. East vs West. Old vs New...

Trying to think outside the square...

Like, uh, this is your lucky day, see
I will uh like, you know, fill you in how come
Suppose you like didn't, uuuh
Run up to a couple of sweet guy like us."
"Heavens no!"
"Oh yeah well we wouldn't want that to happen."
"So I tell you what we're gonna do."
"Oh let's just dispense with formalities
And uh, get down to like business.

Verbal Animé - The Herbaliser

Box n Whisker Graphs

Aesop Rock -  Nine To Fivers Anthem

Zoom in to the fuming of an aggravated breed
Via the study of post-adolescent agitated seeds
Half the patients wasted self prior to Commencement
So I focus on the urban Oxygen samples, the half that made it breathe
They sold Pompeii impression, waste infections
And twelve steps to lesson
Cretins swiftly tippy toe on hard to swallow, barter concepts
The give-it get-it, never let it self passport our stubbornness
Martyrs talks money causes in a harvesting Spartacus
And so on I've thrown long Hail Mary bombs
Toward cookie-cutter Mother Natures bedazzled synthetic fabrics
Life treats the peasants like
They tried to fuck his woman while he slept inside
Well they're merely chasing perfectionist emblems
When the clock strikes nine
I'll be waking with the best of routine caffeine team players
For the cycle of it
Under a dusted angel heart string Big Brother is watching
My odometer like buzzard to fallen elk, talking stealth
We got babies, rubber stamps, and briefcase parts
We on some door-to-door now
Order ten dollars or more, we'll shove it down your throat for free
I'll sacrifice my inborn tendencies
For copper pennies for one commanding "Gimme that"
So we can retain baby fat
Make the biter snake bedlam
Holocaust freak, heckle shiesty brain headroom shaped planet
Make a move, pause, make a move break cannon
Bent barrel one eight zero, you'll turn, squeeze, ending
It's on like it's never been
It's bleeding well
It's bigger than a breadbox
It corrodes my leaky finance
I'll take my seat atop the Brooklyn Bridge
With a Coke and a bag of chips
To watch a thousand lemmings plummet just because
The first one slipped
Sometimes I laugh at victory, kissing these little question marks
I tend to underestimate my average
Just another bastard savage
Someday you'll all eat out of my cold hand
Cuz every dog has its day
At which point, I'll pull it away

Now we the American working population
Hate the fact that eight hours a day
Is wasted on chasing the dream of someone that isn't us
And we may not hate our jobs
But we hate jobs in general
That don't have to do with fighting our own causes
We the American working population
Hate the nine-to-five day-in day-out
When we'd rather be supporting ourselves
By being paid to perfect the pastimes
That we have harbored based solely on the fact
That it makes us smile if it sounds dope

[Verse 2]
It's the year of the silkworm
Everything I built burned yesterday
Let's display the purpose that these stilts serve
Elevate the spreading of the silk germ
Trying to weave a web but all that I believe in is dead
Nah brother, it's the year of the jackal
Saddle up on high horse
My torch forced Polaris embarrassed
Shackle up the hassle by the dooming legend marriage
I bought some new sneakers
I just hope my legacy matches
It's the year of the landshark
Dry as sand, parched, damn get these men some water
They're out there being slaughtered
In meaningless wars so you don't have to bother
And can sit and soak the idiotbox trying to fuck their daughters
Man it's the year of the Orphan
Seated adjacent to the firefly circling the torches on your porches
Trying to guard the fortress of a king they've never seen or met
But all are trained to murder at the first sign of a threat
Maybe it's the year of the waterbug
Cockroach utter thug specimen
Fury spawned from dreaming of your next of kin
I'm still dealing with this mess I'm in
I've been the object of your ridicule
You've been a bitch lieutenant
God, it's the year of the underpaid employee
Spittin' forty plus a week
And tryin' to rape Earth on my off time
You bored dizzy, I can't keep myself busy enough
So you can run run run
And I'mma let you think you won

We the American working population
Hate the fact that eight hours a day
Is wasted on chasing the dream of someone that isn't us
And we may not hate our jobs
But we hate jobs in general
That don't have to do with fighting our own causes
We the American working population
Hate the nine to five day-in day-out
But we'd rather be supporting ourselves
By being paid to perfect the pastimes
That we have harbored based solely on the fact
That it makes us smile if it sounds dope

Fumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition and
Yawn and stretch and my life is a mess and
If I never make it home today, God bless
Fumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition and
Yawn and stretch and my life is a mess and
If I never make it home today, God bless

Could just delete the word "American" from the above though...
