Building Bridges to Knock them Down

I DON'T WANT POWER...
I JUST WANT TO
CONTROL EVERYTHING!

So you may have come to realise by now that this blog does not know what on earth it is doing or where it's going, but it does it anyway. It doesn't know all the answers, it may not know half the answers*. In fact the answers that it does actually think it knows are (or could be) completely (or at least partially) false.Kind of symbolic of myself and my approach to life.
This could be frustrating for some but may also produce varying levels of excitement for others, from the randomness created. Being prepared to rethink things on a daily basis, challenge our own thoughts, entrenched opinions, what we take for granted and/or think is real. Not because we flip-flop, but because we grow.

The puzzlement of the unknown, the drama that is encapsulated, the eternalness of the unknowable and the laughter that ensues. The choice to seek out new ideas, search for intelligence and quality where it can be found, and the willingness to carry on regardless of what may alter our perceptions. And so forth.... Out of me noggin' am I?

So don't mind if you don't always know what I'm talking about, because it's sometimes subjective, and I do flick between many different topics very quickly, and occasionally without prior warning.

Imagination Costs Nothing

"It all happened too fast
to concentrate...

(pleasant malice)

we're all the same
we're all different
we're all insecure
we're all ego-driven
we're all normal
we're all weird

(connections, connections...)

everybody in the world knows us somehow
they just don't all know how yet
this is known somehow
Six degrees up in this bee-arch!!!

"Just about got away on me then...

Extinct Theories

"It's not you
it's me...

Organised Randomness:

just because you don't know what you wanna do...
doesn't mean you shouldn't do it

we are never going to be treated any better...
than we treat ourselves

there is no rhythm in the world...
without movement first

One Million clichés:

losing interest in the games we play on a daily basis
I must have given up years ago
on the verge of a breakdown
loose cars, fast women
paranoid delusions
can't cope with rejection
all the kings horses and all the kings men
disillusioned dreamer
playing with my own heart
confused by myself
I hate me more than you do
the actions I took were clearly my own
I blame myself for thinking alone
lack of judgement and poor taste
that is all I would like to say on the matter

"Hello Darkness
my old friend...

Exercise in Futility

Got some space you would like to devalue? Then these should come in handy, you could print them off and make them into posters or just crappify your desktop or workspace if you want. Actually it's pretty much open for you to do what you like with them.
But ignore them at your own risk!

Next weeks themes include:
Icons, screen savers and humorous farting sounds for when you clear your recycling bin!

Defiance of Logic

"Oh I do have a private life that influences all my thoughts, decisions, opinions, emotions, tastes, feelings, triumphs, disasters, past and present...

I just don't talk about it here much.

They are all in my heart though
and will flow through my words

for as long as I write them you can read them
whenever you like I don't mind
eventually lack of attention may disillusion me

but I can't see that happening, especially on the internet
there is always a sucker to get hooked on what you got

Do you like green?

Periods Of Uncertainty

Obsess much?

Life imitates art
imitates life imitates art imitates life imitates art imitates life imitates heart imitates knife imitates brain imitates others imitates spite imitates television imitates hands imitates forever.

Don't try and be different...
Or you won't be the same!

Attack Decay Sustain Release

Disposable Heroes/Income:
(OR a good old political rant of misplaced anger*)

If I had a private army
I'd take it to Zimbabwe
unleash it on Mugabe
murder death kill

he deserves a proper death
long slow and torturous
but that's sinking to his level
Well we're already there

surely he should be dead by now?
What sort of world kills Ghandi
MLK, JFK, Bhutto, Lennon, etc...
but let's human waste like
Pinochet, Pol Pot and Mugabe
live to a ripe old age???

I'm disgusted in us all
especially myself

why do we assassinate good people?
I guess it's cos only evil people kill others
that is why we need good assassins like in the movies some sort of Norris/Eastwood/Stallone/Willis mission? but I forgot all the good guys are already at war
surely the UN can't talk and do nothing forever
unless that's what it was always designed for
a system to legitimate diplomatic inertia
while they sit on their washed hands
doing nothing nothing nothing
economic interests prevail
blood flows through Africa

seems the only people that want power
are the ones prepared to use it
to get themselves to power
and keep themselves powerful

so by definition all leaders are power hungry control freaks only wanting to perpetuate their own interests, feed their egos, scratch their cronies
backs and punish their opponents... however benignly they achieve this.
unless they're ignorant puppets like bush

not to mention all the other bad governments, regimes, atrocities, and genocide happening around Africa and the third world, that are obviously not as important as celebrity romance, sports and buying shit we don't need, on credit we can afford, to benefit people that despise our existence... (see comment attached)
*natural anger helps me post

Mainstream Alternatives

"This is not going to be pretty...

(open your mind)

Alternative mainstreams
demanding attention
-+-
request new data
from old confessions
-+-
good for nothing
self -appointed genius
-+-
all in jest
it ain't too serious

This Ain't No Disco

You can be assure the reasons for this, are random and not deliberate.

This is not an advertising space, as far as no one pays me, so you can be assured of my honest opinion, untainted by the sleaziness of money or commercial imperatives. I only really mention things I found really interesting, thought provoking or just damn good! In saying that much of the time I am promoting some sort of cultural document or artwork. Whether it be a new Album, movie or in this case a comic book/graphic novel:

I just read this recently after finding it on a friends coffee table. Took me a while to get through it the first time, so I then re-read the whole thing again quickly. Which is really how these things should be enjoyed. Burn out, not fade away.

An exploration of American culture thought the eyes of a corporate executive who has just gone through some personal crisis of his own. This takes place right around the time of the most publicised event in modern history. So permanent in the collective memory of the West it has been given it's own three digit code: 9-11.

Is America broken or being fixed?
