Starting to Suck Now

I'm starting to get sick of what is happening to these pics
and I have a new theory...

I think my wireless connection has been disturbed/distorted
since Xmas day, when we set up an indoor weather station
with outdoor remote sensor, I think that must be interfering
with the wireless signal somehow, does that sound likely?

damn it , I was just getting used to knowing the humidity levels
and the difference between outdoor and indoor temperature

Himalayan Salt Lamp

See the pics are still crazy/faulty!
depending on how empty/full your glass is/is not...

If you hadn't noticed by now...
my post titles often have no relevance to the content, like in this case.
I find it amusing and it might have hidden meanings to me...
that you don't even know about, or it might not, which is usually the case...

Everything that is made, is made to decay...
except the internet!

There seems to a fault with my photo uploads
makes it look like I got futuristic with the editing tools

Misplaced Mail

Whoops, more garbled messiness...
If only I could delete my mistakes
Then you wouldn't have to see them!

There is definitely a difference between "you're" and "your" people!
They are not interchangeable... Look it up!

(NB:) Not something you need to read yo:)( Sorry if you thought that was totally pointless... but I find it fun to sound out nonsensical sounds at times of exuberance or cataclysm, deeply from the bottom of the dodgy comments (not yours) that I get, that are very complementary (not free, but positive) in a vague way, that try to plug their own blog or product. Yes we can all see through your manipulating commercial lies! but I like billboards though and I have been putting up a few stickers lately (that may show later). That sort of thing really. You know the usual stuff that no one else really gives a stuff about (sorry kids for the swear). I guess I just want to contribute, in a prolific quest at achieving complete mediocrity on all levels.)

(I had a nice barbecue feed today in the sun and got burnt slightly, remember cancer kids, don't fry your skin into leather, unless you really want to. But that's just another summer dilemma wanting to distract you from the real issues in the tabloids, like celebrities and sideshow carnivals;)

Trend Spotting

Is it just me or do Rorschach test pictures sometimes look like a monochrome butterfly that was squashed by a stretched Hummer limousine driven by corporate greed on a highway to oblivion?

In the kingdom of fools the easy answers are fighting to control the rapidly disappearing middle-classes lost ideals of nostalgic imagination, we always knew how to sweep it all under the carpet. So the collective lessons are never learnt, so every generation has to overcome another tyranny.

Pressing all the buttons again and again, without remembering what the result was last time.

Nah, I'm just messing with ya! I don't really believe that we can save the world tomorrow. But I guess that doesn't mean that we can't try, in our own small ways to make things better for the future. It's the little things and all that.

Total Molecular Disintegration

I just really wanted to use that title, since I saw that recently. It was the name of a type of extremely (warning understatement) spicy (not joking, could not only finish one piece and was not coping well in the tongue and lip department, whoops haven't even told you what it is yet...) chicken snack, at a pub/restaurant in town (roughly) that we had won a bar tab in a quiz (competitive knowledge is awesome! sample question: Name the three band members from the band Nirvana), but that is another story that I'm not going to tell you. Well not here right now anyway.

I wish I had a time machine (but only sometimes)

...on an unrelated note, I heard a radio review today of the new Lou Reed/Metalica album. It didn't seem like my cup of tea. The bits I heard sounded like they might be for an acquired taste and apparently other reviews aren't that great. But oh well Lou Reed has been on his own trajectory for awhile now, so any true fans he has left might be keen on some masochistic art rock. I didn't need another reason to hate Metalica though, I was never really into their music (full disclosure: except for maybe one or two songs from the past if I were really drunk) and we may still have Napster if it wasn't for old Lars (well probably not but I still thought he was a right wank about the whole thing). Some kind of fucking ego monster alright, but not one that I want to subject my ear holes to...

But I have to also admit I am currently as writing, listening to the Trainspotting Motion Picture soundtrack (playlist to follow) (another example of a movie which I should probably read the book, but I don't think I will cos I have heaps of other shit I want to read, but I won't get around to because of the internet and other excuses), which includes the song Perfect Day by Lou reed, which I like.

Jiggly Wobble or Wobbly Jiggle

Important comedians who pushed boundaries
Fought for Freedom of Speech
Questioned Religion/Society

Fun Fact: Unauthorised reproduction and distribution of copyrighted work, or just generally stealing ideas, has helped many large companies (multi-national entities) achieve great success at shafting rivals who's brilliant inventions where never quite marketed (or simplified) for mass consumption. But hey, to the victor goes the spoils, the winners get to write history and erase the losers that didn't fit their paradigm. The world's too fucked to fix anyway. The meek will inherent a chance to dig their own graves. Power comes from the barrel of a gun. If your motives are justified, you can lie to the whole world, to kill more enemies than we ever knew existed. If we don't murder, then I guess only the opposition would, so we might as well make it fair. Fair is fear.

Self-Indulgent Twaddle

insert text here...

Not everything can be of absolute top quality
but don't ever believe that we have to accept crap
we can do far better, but also far worse I fear

Pretty much everything one here, is just to amuse myself
I even like looking back at my own posts sometimes
how narcissistic is that? well I don't really know

Change can be a frightening yet necessary process
not everything needs a new logo or a makeover though
we survived before rampant commercialism took over

I wish I could write better short stories more, or a novel
create narrative, detail, emotion and ideas that survive
envision a character who transcends the archetypes

Time is of the essence and all that.

Another Bunch of Odd Pictures of Nothing in Particular or Fascinating

Some more easily-overlooked oddities spliced with unconventional irregularities

Neglected by meaning, camouflaged by fear, plagued by inconsistency

Obvious obliviousness, unassumingly tedious, yet thoroughly refreshing

Sprinkled with nostalgia generated from shared experience and faulty memories

Injecting an order to the narrative, regardless of hindsight or better judgement

Ambushed by Facts, Overwhelmed by Statistics

Branded with delight. Resistance is futile. Established Hierarchies

Yankee Doodle Dump

Just to prove it's not all serious turmoil and political blustering...
as it may be below

weird pics appeared for all to see...

ohhh how terrifyingly freakish delight of madness
unexplainable mystery of unspeakable vagueness
or whatever.

Free Markets, Kill People

Historically famine is not caused by food shortages
it's caused by war, greed, politics, denial, markets, bureaucracy,
human indifference, apathy, instability, corruption, conspiracy,
irony, lack of co-operation, breakdown of societies, lies,
unnecessary interference in rural economies, etc...

history is full of liars, cheats, thieves and charlatans
our greatest strengths are also our greatest weaknesses
our greatest virtues can also be our worst vices
opportunities threats

Shouldn't (human) life always be more valuable than economic progress or rare commodities?

why are we here?

Because there's a terrible draft in the lounge...

No, I mean why are we here?

Well, I don't know if there really is one reason in particular... You just sort of have to make your own and it can be different for everybody.

(Borrowed from my memory of a 'Shameless' Ep.)

The Whole World's Watching...

The people united will never be defeated!
"NYPD is Wall Street's Private Army"

Hey hey, ho ho, corporate greed has got to go!
this is a peaceful protest...

Police reinforce the dominant social structure... no matter how fucked it is
shame shame shame

Justice delayed is justice denied
social justice now, tomorrow, today!

People are ruled by governments
governments are ruled by markets

Borders are imaginary, restrictions man made
all governments are fraudulent, protect the status quo

Not that I have anything better to replace it, the law of the jungle
rat race, no morals just laws, exceptions, bribery, corruption

All suggestions welcome
I guess were only human

SORRY that's just some insane theories that would ruin the perfect world we currently live eh... the current economic inequalities are totally justified, people should just have to go without higher education, social services can be cut, etc... but we can still have an opulent wedding with affluent guests for the future King/throw a party for the state/bail out a bank, people should have to live in poverty (if it balances budgets) while others live it large, some are job-creators after all and far more important than the poor, who pretty much deserve it, you know their parents were poor so it's in the genes, wealth redistribution would just make them lazier and even less entrepreneurial than they are currently, their portfolios diversified with all the great gifts of the corporate masters: gambling, alcohol, cigarettes, fast food, credit cards, bling, flat-screens TVs and other stuff they waste money on things like rent, food, electricity, medical bills, childcare, headstones, clothes, etc... whereas rich people are so much classier, they do cocaine and live in the 1980's, holiday in the sun, adore yachts, plastic surgery and dead artists, increase gross domestic product, use phrases like 'per capita'... even though most of their wealth was inherited, they have become accustomed their daily burden, of knowing their fabulous because they donate to tax-deductible charities that can give a shit for them, safe in the knowledge that although mo' money means mo' problems, it also hires/buys more reinforcements, militia, mercenaries, intelligence agents, helicopter gun-ships, cluster bombs, police, soldiers and other ways to prop up the system. This may have happened by accident or random chance, but were damned if were going to try to equal things up!!! Any guilt arising from the above does not apply to self made millionaires, their dramatic rise from poverty and cunning social mobility, is worthy of a biopic, private security detail and freedom to enslave... if they can do it, then you must just be less motivated, get off your arse and stop reading stuff on the internet and you might just be able to be successful too, ideas are for schmucks, actions speak louder than, go develop and invest, mess things up a bit, as we obviously can't fix things, well not without making things worse...

Sad Cat Post

I don't usually use this space to mention my own personal events too much,
well I guess, I do in a vague roundabout fashion, omit names to protect identities, etc
but anyway here's some raw uncensored info...

I received sad news yesterday:
My Cat died.

He was born in 1989 and lived his whole life in the same house/garden
so in human (calendar) years he was about 21 and a half,
but in cat terms that is far far older, almost 100 I think?
he was very old though and had a mostly sedate, carefree life
besides the odd nocturnal fight in his younger years.

So RIP Speedy the cat I got when I was 7*
what a good bastard he was.
