I'm starting to get sick of what is happening to these pics

and I have a new theory...

I think my wireless connection has been disturbed/distorted

since Xmas day, when we set up an indoor weather station

with outdoor remote sensor, I think that must be interfering

with the wireless signal somehow, does that sound likely?

damn it , I was just getting used to knowing the humidity levels

and the difference between outdoor and indoor temperature

Is it just me or do Rorschach test pictures sometimes look like a monochrome butterfly that was squashed by a stretched Hummer limousine driven by corporate greed on a highway to oblivion?

In the kingdom of fools the easy answers are fighting to control the rapidly disappearing middle-classes lost ideals of nostalgic imagination, we always knew how to sweep it all under the carpet. So the collective lessons are never learnt, so every generation has to overcome another tyranny.

Nah, I'm just messing with ya! I don't really believe that we can save the world tomorrow. But I guess that doesn't mean that we can't try, in our own small ways to make things better for the future. It's the little things and all that.

Total Molecular Disintegration

I just really wanted to use that title, since I saw that recently. ...on an unrelated note, I heard a radio review today of the new Lou Reed/Metalica album. It didn't seem like my cup of tea. The bits I heard sounded like they might be for an acquired taste and apparently other reviews aren't that great. But oh well Lou Reed has been on his own trajectory for awhile now, so any true fans he has left might be keen on some masochistic art rock. I didn't need another reason to hate Metalica though, I was never really into their music (full disclosure: except for maybe one or two songs from the past if I were really drunk) and we may still have Napster if it wasn't for old Lars (well probably not but I still thought he was a right wank about the whole thing). Some kind of fucking ego monster alright, but not one that I want to subject my ear holes to...

SORRY that's just some insane theories that would ruin the perfect world we currently live eh... the current economic inequalities are totally justified, people should just have to go without higher education, social services can be cut, etc... but we can still have an opulent wedding with affluent guests for the future King/throw a party for the state/bail out a bank, people should have to live in poverty (if it balances budgets) while others live it large, some are job-creators after all and far more important than the poor, who pretty much deserve it, you know their parents were poor so it's in the genes, wealth redistribution would just make them lazier and even less entrepreneurial than they are currently, their portfolios diversified with all the great gifts of the corporate masters: gambling, alcohol, cigarettes, fast food, credit cards, bling, flat-screens TVs and other stuff they waste money on things like rent, food, electricity, medical bills, childcare, headstones, clothes, etc... whereas rich people are so much classier, they do cocaine and live in the 1980's, holiday in the sun, adore yachts, plastic surgery and dead artists, increase gross domestic product, use phrases like 'per capita'... even though most of their wealth was inherited, they have become accustomed their daily burden, of knowing their fabulous because they donate to tax-deductible charities that can give a shit for them, safe in the knowledge that although mo' money means mo' problems, it also hires/buys more reinforcements, militia, mercenaries, intelligence agents, helicopter gun-ships, cluster bombs, police, soldiers and other ways to prop up the system. This may have happened by accident or random chance, but were damned if were going to try to equal things up!!! Any guilt arising from the above does not apply to self made millionaires, their dramatic rise from poverty and cunning social mobility, is worthy of a biopic, private security detail and freedom to enslave... if they can do it, then you must just be less motivated, get off your arse and stop reading stuff on the internet and you might just be able to be successful too, ideas are for schmucks, actions speak louder than, go develop and invest, mess things up a bit, as we obviously can't fix things, well not without making things worse...

Sad Cat Post

I don't usually use this space to mention my own personal events too much,

well I guess, I do in a vague roundabout fashion, omit names to protect identities, etc

but anyway here's some raw uncensored info...

I received sad news yesterday:

My Cat died.

He was born in 1989 and lived his whole life in the same house/garden

so in human (calendar) years he was about 21 and a half,

but in cat terms that is far far older, almost 100 I think?

he was very old though and had a mostly sedate, carefree life

besides the odd nocturnal fight in his younger years.

So RIP Speedy the cat I got when I was 7*

Where Pigs are frequent flyers, the cheque is in the mail, your farts smell like freshly baked cookies, your bosses are not retards, it's not you it's me, I really want to help you, we are doing this for your own safety/benefit or to enhance traffic flow, that aggression really suits you, the earth can still be fixed, you have nothing to worry about, nuclear arms are the best deterrent, global warming is scaremongering, other people aren't trying to use you, the Trojan horse was a thoughtful gift, I take full responsibility for my actions, I won't do that again, a full inquiry will ascertain all the details, I am not a crook, I'd like to hear your criticism, I am sorry for everything and will never put my own desires ahead of the common goals of humanity, internet message boards are full of constructive feedback, I believe whatever the authorities on television tell me, rumours are a good basis for opinion, legislation, policies and processes always make sense, pointing out the faults somehow solves them, if you're not part of the problem you're part of the solution, this post hasn't gone on too long, cynicism makes it all better for me, peace in our time, myths are true, there is not a whole bunch of crazy shit currently happening all over the world, and I forgot the punchline again...
