Just to prove I'm not anti-Republican (of course I am though) I have produced this small selection of ideas to demonstrate the evolution of republican thought. I have selected quotes from the early nineteenth century to compare how I think these ideas would be spun if they we thought of today, enjoy!
Then:

Now:
